Cornwall Rest Home is a 27 bed home owned by Kirsty and Craig Schofield and is set in an 'old worlde' garden. 

The original rest home of 8 beds expanded to 14 beds in late 2002. In 2005 we expanded to 22 beds with a second lounge area, dining area and also 2 extra bathrooms. The new additions are sympathetic in style with the original building. In 2010 we renovated and built a new wing onto an existing wing with 5 more bedrooms with 4 of these bedrooms having their own toilets.

The style of the home makes for easy movement and integration of activiites. The kitchen is very accessible and lies at the heart of the house with an adjacent lounge. It is common for our visitors and friends to be invited to sit at the kitchen table  and be offered a cuppa and some home baking. 

The home cooked meals are lovely and residents always comment about them. We have our hot meal at midday and home baking for morning and afternoon teas. 

We have 2 registered nurses working a total of 5 days each week who give expert care and advice in key areas to ensure our Residents health needs are met. Our caregivers are loved and appreciated by everyone.
