Independent Villas & Serviced Apartments

In your Waikanae Country Lodge Villa or Apartment you can enjoy independent living in a well-appointed ground-level home, surrounded by friendly neighbours and beautiful tranquil gardens. The Villas and Apartments have their own unit titles and come with one, two or three bedrooms, plus open plan lounge, kitchen, laundry and bathroom.

You can enjoy the sunshine in your own private courtyard and paved terrace or keep cosy inside with your economical night store heating or zoned under-floor independently controlled heating.

In a Waikanae Country Lodge Villa or Apartment you manage your own home, yet have the comfort of knowing that help is available in an emergency thanks to a 24-hour, monitored emergency call system.

Of course, living independently doesn’t mean you have to be by yourself. There’s always something going on at Waikanae Country Lodge, including a monthly Diversional Therapy activities timetable, a fortnightly ‘Happy Hour’ held in the main dining room and a courtesy mini bus to Paraparaumu shops on Tuesday and Waikanae shops on Thursday. Villa and Apartment sales inquiries are handled by our experienced sales person.

Care Facility (Rest Home and Private Hospital)

Situated in the heart of the Lodge, Waikanae Country Lodge’s Rest Home and Hospital offers 59 bedrooms - all with a hand basin. Some include a private ensuite toilet and some share facilities with the adjacent room. There are also two Studio Units which have a lounge and bedroom with ensuite facility.

All bedrooms are provided with 24-hour full care from registered nursing staff. In addition, Waikanae Country Lodge offers Respite Care and a full Palliative Care programme following the Liverpool Care Pathway.
