Resthaven is known for its warm, friendly and homely atmosphere. An older style facility surrounded by beautiful cottage gardens, its size is deceptive when viewed from our street frontage. Resthaven has a heart of gold with all of our staff committed to providing the very best of care. As the adage goes “don’t judge a book by its cover”. Our activities programme is provided separately for each care level, although residents often join together for theme days, entertainment and outings. Staff learn about residents’ interests to ensure the programme is meaningful to all. A wide variety of activities are offered by our activities/diversional therapist.

In the dementia unit activities are specifically tailored to help those with memory loss, with a focus on reminiscing, brain exercise and relaxation.
