Raeburn is situated adjacent to the ‘green belt’ in Cambridge, next to open paddocks and rural views. All resthome and hospital rooms have ranch sliders, some opening onto decking, others onto a garden or a patio area.

We provide a complete range of care, with resthome, secure dementia and hospital rooms, all on the one site.

Our gardens are well maintained and we have recently refurbished most of the facility.

All our meals are cooked onsite and our chef is always willing to accommodate any special needs a resident may require.

Our two activities coordinators provide residents with a wide range of activities, all chosen with the needs of current residents in mind. When possible, activities are also relevant to what’s happening in the world and our locality.

Our facility specialises in decorating with themed bunting that emphasizes current events, such as the National Fieldays, visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to our town, Anzac Day, Easter, Queen’s Birthday and Matariki.

Regular exercises, tai chi, concerts, visits from pet groups and line dancers are all part of our activities, along with outings in our lovely van, complete with a hoist for our chair-bound residents.
