Elmwood Village is framed by beautiful gardens and expansive flower beds, manicured lawns, mature trees and garden seats. Residents find it easy to get fresh air and sunshine. With comfortable rooms, suites and attractive lounges for socialising, Elmwood has a warm and homely feeling.

You will often hear laughter as residents catch up over a cup of tea or share a favourite pastime. At the same time, residents and staff alike respect individual privacy.

Elmwood is proud of the wide range of activities, which take place every day – both within the facility and out into the Community. We like to build activities  around the interests of all, and are constantly updating our programme to suit resident’s preferences.

Activities include daily exercise class, quizzes, speaker’s from the community on a regular basis, plus special events and weekly entertainment.

Residents have the Elmwood choir and play reading group, who put on shows on a regular basis. We offer cookery, sewing and there's a men’s group who have been doing some light gardening to earn them trips to a local pub! Recently we hosted a walk/wheel marathon and raised money for the SPCA.
