Malyon House is situated in Heath Street - just a few steps behind the Central Parade Shopping Centre. We are a friendly aged care facility catering for the needs of our 57 residents.

Malyon House is privately owned and operated by David & Cecily Munro; and Amy Munro & Brett Horgan. Amy is the Managing Director.

Kerrianne Cole is our Facility Manager, and Maureen Stark is our Clinical Manager. Both Registered Nurses, Kerrianne and Maureen work closely together to ensure the highest standard of care for our residents and their families.

We have 55 single rooms, and one double room. These areas each have their own living/dining area and bathrooms. We have a telephone for our residents' use, and most rooms have individual jack points for personal telephones if you wish.

• There are 5 separate lounge areas, plus decks and outdoor areas
• Daily on site laundry

Visiting

Visitors are always welcome – friends and family can come at any time. Weekends away and holidays with families are encouraged.

Day care is available – either privately, or with funding through Support Net. Call 07 571 0093 for information about their assessment services.

Respite Care/Carer Support

We are delighted to have short stay clients when we have empty beds, otherwise beds may be available at one of associated facilities (Mitchell Court in Matua, Devonport Palms in Tauranga, and Raglan Hospital and Rest Home).
