Kena Kena Rest Home is a fully licensed stage 2 purpose designed facility built in accordance with Ministry of Health Requirements for the residential care of the elderly and young disabled.

There are three residential wings and a wing of license-to-occupy studio units which radiate from the central kitchen, dining, recreation and reception area - the home caters for up to 41 residents.

Kena Kena Rest Home is owned and operated by two registered nurses, Heather Rye and Barbara Mador. Heather and Barbara have been in partnership at Kena Kena Rest Home for 16 years - between them having over 60 years of nursing experience and working together for the past 18 years. This allows 24 hour coverage of the home by registered nurses that have had extensive experience in the care of the elderly.
