Kemp Home & Hospital is situated in Titahi Bay, one block back from the beach, in grounds that provide a pleasant outlook from each unit of the facility. It is within easy walking distance to the shops as well as the Returned and Services Association rooms and the Library. A regular bus service to Porirua is available as well as van trips, enabling those who wish to shop further afield to do so. Kemp offers a 'family' atmosphere - whether you're a social active person who enjoys the company of others, or just enjoying the peace and quiet.

As a faith-based organisation, Kemp prides itself that the focus is on 'your needs, your care'. Kemp Home & Hospital is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Wellington City Mission.

The Facility includes:

• Rest home or hospital-level care for up to 81 elderly residents and patients.
• 24 hour professional nursing and medical care in a friendly, homely atmosphere.
• Close links with Kenepuru and Wellington Hospitals, and local health professionals, such as GP's, physiotherapist and chiropodist.
• Most rooms have shared ensuites.
• In-house occupational therapy and a wide range of recreational activities.
• Food prepared by qualified cooks and special diets catered for.
• Regular church services on-site in St Nicholas Chapel.
• Sheltered gardens and pleasant views.
• Intermittent and ad hoc respite care also offered.
