Located at the end of Ford Avenue in Kamo, our complex is set on a gentle north facing slope overlooking native bush and Mount Parakiore. The grounds and gardens are extensive and offer plenty of space to walk and enjoy the outdoors. Only minutes away from Kamo shopping centre, amenities such as a medical centre, supermarket, library, churches, and bus stop are readily accessible.

No matter what level of care is required, individuality is recognised to ensure that independence is maximised.

You will be provided with a single room with in a wing of 10 rooms.  Each wing has it own showers and toilets and a large sun/lounge room equipped with a kitchenette.  Communal areas within the Rest Home consist of a dining room, a social centre, a pastoral care area, a bowling room, a well-equipped library with computer and internet access and a hair salon.

What level of service will I receive?

In our Rest Home you will be assisted to remain independent by our Care Services Team.  A Registered Nurse will formulate an individual plan of care for you, will manage any medical requirements that you may have, and will oversee all other aspects of your care requirements. You will be seen regularly by your doctor and a Podiatrist.

Three main meals a day will be provided to you by our Catering Team, plus morning and afternoon tea and supper. All your laundry and housekeeping needs will be met by our House Keeping Team.

A wide range of social and spiritual activities are available for you to attend throughout the week organized by a qualified Diversional Therapist and our resident chaplain.
